Jacques-Cartier National Park

Only 30 minutes north of Quebec City, this site is a real gem of nature. It is possible to walk multiple paths as well as to run down the river in calm water on board of paddle surfing, canoeing, kayaking and even tubes in a peaceful environment. The path chosen during my visit was the Wolves. To get to kilometer sixteen by the way of the park, be warned that it is not designed for cars of a good width. Like all the Sépaq parks I have visited, the trails are well marked and generally well maintained. Two great views at the lookouts are worth the effort of the ascent.
